Did I forget something very important? Yes I forget to mention about feathers! Feathers are a vital feature of a bird not to be missed. Feathers form a protective covering on the one hand, whilst enhancing beauty on the other hand. They are beautifully shaped and designed with all sort of colours – from brown, black, grey, red, yellow, orange, blue and also green just like the colours of the rainbow. Different sorts of feathers perform different jobs. The larger ones called the contour feathers are used for flight. The down feathers which are fluffy and smaller, helps to keep the birds warm. The number of feathers on a bird depends on its size, where and how it lives. Birds would be incomplete without feathers!
The birds great and small, weak and mighty, beautifully carved by the hands of the maker. Birds of prey and birds of diversity, structured for flight with lightweight but strong body skeleton. Like humans, they are able to look after their young after birth to them. Birds are structured to perform bodily functions just like humans but in a different way. They breathe through large air filled cavities, which link with the respiratory system. Their skull bones are joined together; the spine is divided into four parts (neck, abdomen, loin and tail). Movement is very flexible in the neck area, limited in the abdomen and there is almost no movement in the last two. Their forelimbs have been adapted to form wings. Why not find out more about what birds can do.
It is the Lord, who created all living things both great and small. The birds that fly in the sky are made different from sea creatures. Every living being adapts to its own habitat. Sea life is different from life on land. Try viewing life underwater. You will be awestruck by what you see. It is like living in another world. You might be able to see diverse species such as the coral reef, butterfly species, sea cucumber and other marine life. Have you ever seen a cuttlefish, a frogfish or a sleeping parrotfish?
The heavens and earth were created with precision. Heaven, a perfect place, at the foot where sits the galaxies, the sun and moon. When viewed from the earth, the galaxies appear as a band of stars around us, like tiny dots in the sky, billions of them, uncountable. Even astronomers do not yet fully understand how these galaxies evolved as they suggested or how they still exist. Have you ever questioned why the sun rise from the east and sets in the west? I recently learned that the moon, most stars and planets also rise from the east and sets in the west, while the earth rotates from the west to the east.
It is impossible for the world to come into existence just by mere chance or probability. The concept that big bang theory is responsible for the earth’s formation has not been proven. This analogy is based on observations or theoretical considerations but has never been proven, and it remains erroneous. It is interesting to note that when the world was created, everything was put in order; nothing was in disarray. When we look around and see nature itself, indeed one would come to the conclusion that there is a maker. Everything God did surround mankind. He carefully thought about how he was going to execute his plans. He knew what he was going to do for the first six days, and that he would rest on the seventh day. First of all, he introduced light into darkness. The universe he gave form during the next three days before he filled the earth with living beings.
We all have a beginning! It is said that in the beginning, the Heavens and the Earth were empty with nothing to occupy it. It lacked people and activity.God, known as the creator of this universe, designed all that we see and experience today. Does this phenomenon hold true, or do we still believe in the ‘evolution’ or ‘Big Bang Theory’? Do you think the world came into existence by mere chance or probability?
